Blackpool North Shore Golf Club - Blackpool

Blackpool North Shore Golf Club is a private members club set in 98 acres, situated 500 yards from the North Promenade and 2 miles from the town centre of Blackpool. Blackpool is the premier English resort on the North West Coast of England. The course is a links type course with rolling fairways and good-sized greens. Its traditional and well-furnished Club House offers magnificent views of the Lake District, the Forest of Bowland, Bleasdale Fells and the Pennine Hill range.

Blackpool Football Club

Blackpool Football Club Formed in 1889. Blackpool's newly-rebuilt Bloomfield Road ground is a stadium ready for the future. In 2005 it played host to three Group A games in the UEFA European Women's Championship. The official Blackpool Football Supporters Club is BSA, the Blackpool Supporters Assocoation. Our committee is elected by its members. Blackpool FC fully support our Association, and through our fund raising efforts, we put funds directly back into the club by sponsoring matches and players.

Blackpool Tower

Blackpool Tower opened on 14th May 1894, with the aquarium existing as a stand a lone attraction from the late 1870's. The tower is 518ft 9inches tall, with the walk of faith at 380ft from street level. The Tower alone contains 2,493 tons of steel and 93 tons of cast iron. The building at the base contains 985 tons of steel and 259 tons of cast iron. The Tower has a viewing platform at 380ft above the promenade and is reached by a lift or if you are a maintanance worker by 536 steps! Not for the feint hearted is the 'Walk of Faith' glass floor, a two inch clear panel that looks straight down to the Promenade below. The 'Walk of Faith' glass floor panel was placed at the Tower top in 1998. The glass floor weighs half a tonne and is made up of two sheets of laminated glass. The 'Walk of Faith' can withstand the weight equivalent to five baby elephants. To reach the top viewing platform at approximately 450ft you can walk up 2 flights of stairs. The present Ballroom was designed by Frank Matcham and opened in 1899.

Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club - Lytham and St Annes

Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club was founded in 1886 and the present Course constructed in 1897. The Clubhouse celebrated its Centenary in 1998. It is one of the premier links courses in the world, host to ten Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including Woman's and Seniors Open Championships. Northern hospitality has always been famous and Royal Lytham leads the way. You will be made very welcome.It is renowned as a course on which is it hard to scramble a good score, after all, there are 200 bunkers peppering the fairways and surrounding the greens.

The Runshaw College is a Further and Higher Education College located at Lancashire, England. The College was established in 1974 and operates out of the sixth form centre in Leyland, Runshaws Business Centre and two adult centres in Euxton and Chorley. Several A Level and Vocational programs are conducted by the College. The various subjects offered by the College include accounting, biology, business studies, computing, critical thinking, dance, 3D design, drama and theatre studies, economics, English, film studies, fine art, general studies, geography, government and politics, graphics, history, etc.
